They look old and pixelated BECAUSE they are old. And pixelated. Those are like the original forum emoji’s when the forum first started. I have every intention of updating them, but that is hardly a priority in the grand scheme of things right now. Instead, I felt like some familiarity would be a better option, if but for a short time.
As to the emoji’s being tiny; that’s default of the software so that uploaded/added emoji’s stay in-line with text. If you didn’t recall; several emoji’s on Xenforo were whack-a-doo in resolution, with some emoji’s being small, and some being twice as tall as your typed characters.
There’s a CSS option to increase the emoji size (this is like the 3rd time I’ve said this, I swear lol,) but again, just not really high on the priority list of “all the shit that needs to get done.” But it’s on the list.
Well now, how about that. I’m definitely in, really nice selection. Good luck everybody! And thanks hugely to @Hobbes for getting it set up while trying to get all the other bits sorted. You rock Hobbesy!
Discourse dropped a new feature today that sounds like it will “auto wrap” your images when you post 3 or more in a row, displaying them as a grid. I’ve just enabled. I can’t see anyone actually complaining about this one; but if for some reason you must; please let me know lol.
Trying it out right now (some of my commercial grow pics)
420, pumpkin smash and festivus are calendar events that can be fun. But don’t overload yourself @Hobbes you will just burn out. I bet if you let them inside some basic rules the member could run their own contest - wow I am fucking high that would never work in a million complaints - WTF was I thinking
