@tobe @Jean-O I think I might create a “breeders/vendors” only forum where I can go over some of the features that are more geared to you guys versus the regular members. There are some REALLY cool things we can do on this software!

Not really, you can upload them or copy and paste them and they will show up in the post.
You can copy and paste from AFN threads and they come through pretty well here in terms of how they copy over, there’s just not an easy way to copy ENTIRE threads over (pages and pages of replies, etc.)

Honestly yes. The old site was dying (very old school by modern standards,) and our actual on-site traffic has really, really slowed down. The software we were using was great at the time, but it’s showing it’s age and we’ve had a LOT of problems getting support from the developers, and that’s a big issue when we’re paying what we’ve been paying for it.
We’re not trying to cast the widest net to catch them all; but this opens us up to a MUCH WIDER audience, so that hopefully we can continue on with what makes AFN great, but to this new/next generation of growers.
Facebook is filled with some of the most horrendous grow groups you’ve ever seen. Violent, angry, and bad information to boot. So we want to provide a positive experience here, but with a more updated platform that hopefully appeals a bit more to the common day grower.

We’re also reworking the Cultivators Club, simplifying things, making templates for the journals themselves (so growers don’t have to guess what to post,) and also allows us to guide them more on things that BREEDERS like yourself would like to see in the responses. Was talking to Dan Jimmie with Gnome Automatics about testing, and a pain point he mentioned was “getting more out of the testers other than them just getting free seeds out of it.” And I think we can easily do that. Make this more value-packed and value-added.

the current photo run in veg. Im looking forward to reversing the Blue Cheese and dusting them all to see how it’s traits pass on. Blue Cheese is my desert island cultivar.

AHH I like cheese, I sourced some exodus cheese cuts from a member of our local collective to test them next to our Blue Cheese adaption, we crossed BigBuddaCheese x 90’sBlues

@Jean-O hey if you edit a picture into your very first post; it creates that picture on the main index of the forum (so people see your post with a nice big graphic on it) if that makes sense?
Here’s an example:
See all those pics I circled? If you go into those threads, those are the first pics of the very first post. It’s what the software grabs to pull in to make your stuff more graphical (people like to click on the shiny!)

First Cheese I ever tried was Dinafem’s White Cheese. It was disgustingly cheesy lol. That’s how I knew I liked cheese. Then I tried a Purple Cheese long ago (the breeder escapes me,) along with Dinafem’s Kush n’ Cheese (it smelled like a baby ate a ton of indian food, then took a shit in a diaper. But like, in a good way.)

From what I could find the Blue Cheese has never officially been crossed to the Super Silver Haze which is interesting.
My original plans for what I was trying to cross was destroyed when I had some bad germination but that happens and plans always change so I adapted and came up with a new project which Im hoping gives some similar terp profiles and effects to what I was looking for.

Even at the dispensary I only shop by terps. My last dispensary order was based on terpene profiles from the lab alone, and every single one has been a BANGER lol.

I still have 1 dinafem white cheese stashed away for reversal some day. I’ve been scared to pop it because my success rate is only about 50% with CS.
