Most of the time you don’t have to force anything other than OHS, something that I take very seriously.
If they want to, they’ll see workers getting more done that’s better quality with less effort.
If they don’t choose to learn they’ll go rapidly from job to job to job.
That’s the problem the one we got doesn’t care or want to care he’ll figure it out or he won’t ![]()
My 2nd to last employee fired was working as a 2-person crew with one of our young (23 years old) employees that is… a bit endowed, if that paints the picture. And he was actively trying to get her to show him her breasts while they drove together to job sites and even on the jobs. Telling her that his wife is okay with it, and all of her friends show him their tits. Then he was working with another crew mate (a male, like 24 years old,) and he pulled out his phone and started show this coworker naked pictures of his wife. Who he just married 6 months prior. Not just showing pictures of his naked wife, but TEXTING them to said coworker.
The owner stepped in on that firing; but I would stomped that little fuckers throat had the opportunity arose.
So that’s where the text message came from…. and here you are trying to blame one of us ![]()

Where I live there is a 3 month probation period where a person can be fired (or quit) without notice or formal reason.
There might be 10 guys looking who’d be happy to do a good job.
I don’t know your work but typicaly there’s a temporary drop in productivity $$ while the team trains the new hire.
We’re an at-will state here. I could fire you for farting in front of me and not have to give you a reason. As long as it’s not a discriminatory action, legally ya can’t do shit. lol
