@Hobbes Would it be possible to automatically quote a post one is replying to? This would better mimic the behavior of the old software and it would make it easier to follow conversations.

Ok it’s time for my annual rant about the text some companies add to their email. You know, the ones that basically say “If I was stupid enough to send this to you by mistake, you have to save my ass and delete it.”
Guess what… that carries absolutely no legal weight at all.
It implies a contract exists that the recipient never agreed to. Hence its just bullshit.
Then I got this today:
“This e-mail and any attachments may contain information that is PRIVILEGED and CONFIDENTIAL and protected from disclosure and/or use by unauthorized individuals pursuant to Federal law.”
Ok now they are just making shit up. There is no federal law which protects someone from being a moron. Were this not a customer, I would ask them to cite the law they are referring to.
Rant over. You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

If u highlight the text in the reply box vs hitting the reply arrow it will pop up with an option to quote! Can quote all or part of that post! Not quite as easy as XF replies but cuts the 3 step process down to 2! Maybe call it 1.5 with how close the quote button is to where u finish highlighting the text! 
Yeah that is what I have been doing. I kinda liked it when it was automatic, though.
